The CIAT General Assembly will be held in Foz do Iguaçu, Brazil, on April 22-25, 2024, under the sponsorship of the Secretariat of the Federal Revenue of Brazil. -RFB. The central theme of the 58th CIAT General Assembly will be: “Mechanisms for the prevention and resolution of conflicts and promotion of voluntary compliance”.

The thematic structure calls for discussing the central theme on the basis of three main axes or sub-themes for each day of technical sessions:

  1. Conflict prevention mechanisms and promotion of cooperative compliance.
  2. Dispute resolution in the internal and administrative sphere.
  3. Dispute resolution in the judicial sphere; Arbitration and alternative dispute resolution mechanisms; International dispute resolution.
